Break the classic loafer free from creative conformity with these effortless outfits.

It's always best to invest in your wardrobe, especially on items that can pull double—or even triple—duty. An easy example is the Logan Weejun loafer by G.H. Bass & Co. The instantly recognizable moc stitching, supple leather, and traditional flat-strap detailing make it a modern day icon, one that's capable of making the move from boardroom to backyard drinks with ease. Though the handsome style might very well go with any outfit, we took it upon ourselves to style the classic shoe in three unique ways—from work to the weekend and beyond.

WORK

Nothing beats a classic oxford cloth shirt, especially when paired with slim trousers, a navy blazer, and a well-shined pair of loafers. Tuck your button-down in and the outfit is formal enough to be worn in meetings with the top dogs. Or, wear it untucked and without the jacket to let the preverbal hair down and achieve a casual cool that'll let everyone in the office know you know what's up.

WEEKEND

Since it's officially fall now, sticking to dark denim and flannel is the surest bet you can make. A slim, black pair of jeans and solid gray button-down will never not work, and lets your feet anchor the outfit with a subtle hit of color. Now toss in some grey wool socks to tie the 'fit together and you'll really be unstoppable.

OUTDOORS

Cozy guys rejoice: Cooler temps are on their way. The effortless cool of classic pieces like these makes this outfit work as well in the city as the country, and everywhere else in between. (Pro tip: Add warmth and comfort with a classic cotton base layer, aka a T-shirt.)
